The Holy Bible (referred to as “the Bible”) is God’s word, which is the supreme authority for Christianity and the primary method of his communication.
The Bible consists of the Old and New Testaments. The Old Testament, written before the birth of Jesus Christ, is made up of the 1st 39 books of the Bible (Genesis-Malachi), and the New Testament, written after the ascension of Jesus Christ to the 3rd heaven, is made up of the remaining 27 books (Matthew-Revelation).

The Bible is the best resource, because the original autographs are God-breathed, making them inerrant and, therefore, invaluable.
The Bible was ultimately written by God, who used approximately 40 people to write his word, by inspiration of the Holy Spirit (John 14:26, 2 Timothy 3:16, and 2 Peter 1:20-21). The Bible was written on 2 or 3 continents (Africa, Asia, and possibly Europe), in 3 languages (Aramaic, Greek, and Hebrew), and over an approximately 1,490 or 1,495 year period (c. 1400 BC-AD 90 or 95). The Bible contains at least 300 prophecies about Jesus Christ’s life on Earth before his ascension to the 3rd heaven, and Jesus fulfilled all of them.
God has made the Bible the supreme authority for Christianity and the primary method of his communication. No one is to attempt to alter the Bible (Deuteronomy 12:32, Proverbs 30:6, and Revelation 22:18-19).
The original autographs of the Bible have been translated into over 700 languages, including English. Thought-for-thought translations (dynamic equivalence) interpret the meaning of the words in the autographs, whereas word-for-word translations (formal equivalence) use words closest to those used in the autographs. 7 major English translations are the Christian Standard Bible (CSB), English Standard Version (ESV), King James Version (KJV), New American Standard Bible (NASB), New International Version (NIV), New King James Version (NKJV), and New Living Translation (NLT).
Psalm 119:11: Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Psalm 119:105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
John 1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 Timothy 3:16-17: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Hebrews 4:12: For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
