God created everything and everyone to glorify him.

How to glorify God

Psalm 50:14-15: Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High:

And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Glorifying God includes thanking, keeping vows to, and calling upon him.

Psalm 69:30-31: I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

This also shall please the Lord better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs.

Glorifying God includes praising and thanking him, because these actions please him more than animal sacrifices.

Isaiah 24:15: Wherefore glorify ye the Lord in the fires, even the name of the Lord God of Israel in the isles of the sea.

Glorifying God includes honoring his name, which is above every other name.

Micah 6:8: He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

Glorifying God includes having humility, acting with justice, and loving mercy, because these actions are what he requires of humans.

Matthew 22:37-38: Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

This is the first and great commandment.

Glorifying God includes loving God with all one’s heart, soul, and mind, because this is the 1st and greatest commandment.

Matthew 22:39-40: And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Glorifying God includes loving one’s neighbor as oneself, because this is the 2nd great commandment.

Hebrews 11:6: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Glorifying God includes faith in his existence and rewards, because this is necessary to come to him.

Purpose of life
